Moving on in life...

Where does one go from here? I have re-thought my directions in life in the past 1 month, and for some of my friends, they think it is pretty drastic. Some support me, but there are others who think that I am giving up on a lot of potential. That I do not crave any high-flying job that could take me places, nor do I desire to pursue a writing career in future. Well, perhaps they have never really understood me all this while... For those who do not understand me, perhaps they should realise that for me, happiness and fulfillment in life in more important than anything else in the world. Those are what I live for. Yes, I did get that interview, but I already did not want the job, for by then, I had decided that I'd want to spend the rest of my life with my special someone, and am willing to give up everything else just to be with him, even if it means giving up everything in this city I've called home for almost 20 years, and moving across the seas just to be with him. Because -

In the beginning....

Plagued by a hoarse croak of a voice and a restless, wandering mind...that's when I came across this site and thought of starting the blogggggggggggggs. Oh dear, am already late for work...so whatever little time I owe now (am already 10 minutes late and here I am at home writing a blog. But some things have to start somewhere, right? Anyway, here's sending some good vibes to anyone reading this. Be happy, be content, live life well...the way YOU WANT. (Maybe I am trying to motivate myself at the same time!) Adieu for now....

Musings

The other day I was taking a foreign guest of our company on a day out around Kuala Lumpur. He had been here for a week, but never even stepped into a local attraction. It seems so sad. To be in Malaysia but not able to experience the sights and sounds of our country. Our first stop was Central Market, where I for one, was thrilled to see the colourful potpourri of things on offer. After so many years of not visiting Central Market, so many memories, came back again. I am a collector of arts deep in my heart. Wish I could amassing my collections again. It seems so sad that in 2003 August, I had to give up so many precious pieces during my crisis. I miss my cat sculptures, I remember how heavy they were and yet I walked thrugged a long way to carry them back to Malaysia. Then we saw an artist, his own little corner was filled with fabulous pastel sketches of characters, young and old.
