Laughing in the face of adversities

Was watching another movie last night where a man who was always lucky in life met a girl who was perennially unlucky...she's even nicknamed Miss Misfortune and had somehow caused all her ex-boyfriends to come into problems/harm. However this man does not believe in all these superstition and feels that she is the one for him.

As their relationship continues, the man somehow becomes totally unlucky. He meets another man who's like him (the other had married Miss Misfortune's sister who's also super unlucky), but guides him how to appreciate the lighter side of life even there's nothing to laugh about. Even if someone throws paint and you and causes grief, the laughing still has to go on.

Surprisingly, this young man listens to this bit of advice and gradually feels that the more positive he is, even when things seem so bad until the doldrums. He perseveres and discovers that, when things are so bad, there is no way for things to go except to improve.

Over time, his luck improves and he managed to thwart his young gold-digging stepmother who's into his father's coffers in covert operations with his father's enemy. All things turn out well, and he marries Miss Misfortune, becoming richer and happier like never before.

Well, let's look at the lighter side of life. Laugh even when you feel so down or feel like crying. It's good motivation for myself too!
